Thanksgiving

Turkey time, and I'm not just talking about Aunt Emily visiting. Thanksgiving festivities were in full swing. Emily & I started the day off with the local (but not small) Ashburn Turkey Trot. The Sheffler cousins arrived from Richmond in the afternoon to make it a day full of family and friends.

Thanksgiving 2008

We hosted friends & family for Thanksgiving dinner (and had a few more friends over for some dessert). Good thing Jen's mom was here to help keep the culinary effort on track.

The pre-game setup. Sure looks pretty.

Turkey Day!

Emily joined us in Ashburn for Thanksgiving. The four of us headed over to Steve & Melissa's for a great feast and good company. It was quite the day - it started out with beautiful weather, so we hit the park for some outdoor time.

Alex's favorite activity - making a mess.

Group shot. OK, now let's eat!
