Nebraska - Virginia Tech Game

Thanks to Aunt Sherry, we were lucky enough to get tickets to the Nebraska - Virginia Tech game. Cote & I went to the belly of the beast to catch two football-crazed teams go head to head. Jen had never been to a huge "football" school game, so she got a kick at how over-the-top everything seemed. We were invited to a fantastic tail gate (thanks Jebbie, Justin, and Fitzalan!) and the VT fans were awesome. Everything about the trip was awesome, except the final score of course.

Alex's first day of 1st Grade arrived late in the season, but it still felt too soon. She was more excited than mom, of course.

Tarara Night

Joe took Alex and the neighborhood twins downtown to the Smithsonian Art Museum to meet up with a high school friend that was in the area.
