Story Time with Jen the Librarian

On 14 April, Alex & dad joined the Yates for Jen Roy's story time. Alex, Ryan, & Justin enjoyed the frog themed stories and crafts. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Yates Luau

On Friday the 13th - the Yates threw a little Luau for the ENY group. Despite the weather, the atmosphere was warm and everyone had fun (or maybe that is the Blue talking).

Second Installment of House Pictures

Since the March Post was getting a bit long, I've created another Post for even more house pictures (since you just can't get enough of them, can you?).

Fifth set of pictures - taken on 28 March (thanks to Mel, again):

Side view.

You can just catch a glimpse of the common area with trees in front of our house.

View from the side road.

Sixth set of pictures - taken on 6 April when Joe traveled back to Ashburn for the electrical walk through of the house. Joe went a bit crazy with the pictures...

The brick looks great!

Side-by-side view.

Great shot to show the common area in front (too bad a bunch more houses will go up next to us).

Garage is looking good...

View from the back.

Future breakfast room - the door to the right will take you to the garage.

Family room - wouldn't a 42'' flat screen look great above the fireplace?

Where the "gourmet" kitchen will go.

Looking out from the master bedroom "into" the rest of the rooms upstairs.

Dining room to the right, study will go to the left.

Front door to left and study in the center.

Looking "into" the kitchen from the study.

Upstairs room in the garage as seen from the stairs.

Different view of garage upstairs room.

Windows looking out into the alley from the upstairs garage.

Seventh set of pictures - taken on 10 April (thanks Mel!):

Coming along nicely.

More siding completed.

One more window and some siding to go for the garage.

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, we went to the Wright Patterson Club (what used to be known as the Officer's Club) after Mass for a great buffet. Good thing Alex found a friend her age to play with or mom and dad would never of had the chance to eat.
