We were only able to make it to Tarara once this summer - what a bummer. With our insane summer schedule, our Saturday night concerts at Tarara suffered. We caught the wine festival at the end of September to keep that connection strong for next year.

Back to Nebraska for Don's Burial

In early September, the entire Cote-Nance clan returned to Scottsbluff to bury Joe's brother. The Peshek family showed up in force to say goodbye to Don. Aunts, uncles, and cousins galore poured into Scottsbluff to pay their final respects to Donald R. Nance. While we told many a story about Donald R., our efforts paled in comparison to yarns that Don could weave. May Don's soul rest in peace knowing that we miss you.

First Day of Skool

The day finally came - Alex was off to Kindergarten. Our shy little girl had to be pryed from the bosom of her mother to take her first step into higher education. Alex did great, of course.
