Home again, home again...

Ah yes, back home with all the insanity and craziness that it brings. Good to be home.

Alex shows off her Hannah Montana outfit from Emily.

Alex and dad pose by the airport signs.

Big sister helps out with the feeding of Lily.

Carole & Paul adopt a new grandson.

Reading really does sooth savage beasts.

Words escape me.

Adorable.

Emily snatches Lily from the grandmothers.

More Alex "help".

I'm seeing a pattern here.

That is a good sign of things to come.

Alex loves to hold Lily.

Dave thinks this baby thing is cool.

Ryan and Justin mediate, if only for a microsecond.

Homecoming

After 3 long weeks (and 24 hours of traveling), we were finally home. We can't tell you how humbling it was to have family & friends gathered on a school night to welcome us back. Emotions ran high.

Alex does some prep work.

Alex & Gma Nance practice their flag waving skills.

Emily put up some decorations.

The girls get ready...

The crowd gathers.

Papa is one of the first to get a hold of Lily.

Gma Nance gets a moment.

One of our first family pictures - precious.

Those smiles say it all.

Big sister is ready to go.

The masses make for the exit.

Various Lily pictures from Guangzhou

An assortment of Lily pictures while we where in Guangzhou working our way through the adoption process.

Get used to seeing that tongue in her pictures.

Cote gets some giggles out of Lily.

Smiles and that tongue.

Lily has no idea what she is getting herself into.

Showing off her tongue, again.

Hanging out in the hotel room.

Lily being silly with statues.

More silliness.

Cote gets into the act of being silly.

Cote and Lily sharing a laugh.

What a cutie, and Lily isn't bad looking either.

Joe steals some giggles.

Sightseeing in Guangzhou

A few shots when we started dragging Lily around for sightseeing. We had to break Lily into her new lifestyle as soon as possible.

Lily at the Zoo.

Big elephant.

Sleeping Panda.

Outside the Chen Family Confucian Academy (or the Guangdong Folk Art Museum).

Checking out the inside - courtyards are big in China.

More views around the Academy.

Couldn't resist hanging out by the statue.

Now on to Yuexiu Park.

View across the man-made lake.

Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is an ancient Buddhist temple built in 537 in the Liang Dynasty.

Those are some big Buddhas.

A female Buddha - a rare thing I'm told.

Lily is beside herself with excitement.

View of one of the temples.
